Dealcova guide
How Disputes and Refund Outcomes Work on Dealcova
A dispute pauses the active deal while Dealcova reviews the agreed terms and available evidence. The review can continue the deal, return eligible held funds to the buyer, or release eligible held funds to the seller.

When a dispute can be raised
The buyer can raise a dispute while the current milestone is awaiting approval. The reason is stored with the transaction, the seller can respond with notes and evidence, and the deal remains paused during review.
What the reviewer considers
The review uses the transaction terms, milestone details, progress proof, buyer complaint, seller response, and other evidence attached to the deal. Messages or payments kept entirely outside Dealcova may not be available in that record.
Possible outcomes
The configured outcomes are: continue the transaction and restart the review window; resolve for the buyer and return eligible held funds; or resolve for the seller and release eligible held funds. The exact movement depends on the deal's funded amounts, prior releases, and whether a required commitment applied.
A dispute is not a promised refund
Opening a dispute does not guarantee a refund or any other result. Dealcova processes the selected outcome against the funds and records that are available for the deal.
