1. About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of Dealcova at dealcova.com and associated applications. Dealcova is a digital commerce and transaction-management platform, not a bank, wallet, or payment provider. Customer Virtual Account collections, refunds, and transfers are processed through Squad by HabariPay, and Prembly provides identity-verification checks. Dealcova does not provide general savings, lending, investment, or unrelated money-transfer services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter contracts.
• You must complete identity verification before using restricted deal features.
• You must not use the platform for unlawful activity.

3. Identity Verification

Verification is mandatory before initiating, accepting, funding, or participating in deals. Verification may include confirming identity details through Prembly and validating the beneficiary bank account before transaction-related payment or payout features are available.

4. How Dealcova Works

Step 1 — Deal creation

The seller creates an item or deal code, and the buyer initiates a tracked deal with agreed terms.

Step 2 — Seller acceptance

The seller reviews and accepts the recorded transaction terms.

Step 3 — Provider instructions

Where payment is required, the buyer follows the Squad-provided transaction instructions shown for the deal. A refundable transaction-specific commitment amount may also be required from each side to encourage accountability. Dealcova records the provider-reported status alongside the agreed terms. Any applicable platform fee and required transfer total are shown before confirmation.

Step 4 — Milestones

As delivery progresses, proof is uploaded and reviewed. Dealcova records milestone confirmations and communicates the corresponding outcome instruction through the system connection to Squad.

Step 5 — Completion

Once all milestones are complete and confirmed, the deal closes and the final outcome is added to the Dealcova record. Any approved seller payout or buyer refund is processed through Squad's payment infrastructure.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• No fraud, false proof, or bad-faith disputes.
• No illegal goods or services, or money laundering activity.
• No harassment, impersonation, or platform abuse.

6. Disputes

If a dispute is raised after the deal becomes active and before completion, the transaction is placed under review. Dealcova checks the agreed terms, fulfilment updates, and supporting records under the published dispute process.

Any approved payout, refund, or cancellation outcome is processed through Squad according to the recorded resolution. Decisions are binding under these Terms, subject to applicable law. No specific outcome is guaranteed.

7. Fees and Payments

A platform fee of 0.7% of the item deal value applies. The fee, any refundable transaction-specific commitment amount, and the Squad-provided transfer total are shown before you confirm. Customer Virtual Account collections, approved payouts, and refunds are processed through Squad by HabariPay.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute not resolved through the platform process will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria, subject to applicable law.

9. Platform Scope

Only a transaction created and recorded as a Dealcova deal can use the platform's progress record, evidence log, and dispute process. Agreements, transfers, deliveries, or settlements carried out outside a Dealcova deal are outside the platform record and cannot be monitored or resolved through Dealcova.
